Mona has had a long affiliation with the Island having very happy memories of holidays and working at Ferndale, South Sea's Hotel and the fish sheds many moons ago. Her mother was born and bought up on the Island and her Dad (of Norwegian descent) did his apprenticeship as an engineer at the whaling base.
When able, Mona likes to be out walking the many bush walks or out fishing for tasty blue cod.
Mona enjoys meeting the great diversity of people who travel to Rakiura Lodge and is happy to assist you in your bookings, transfers and activities on our beautiful island.
